GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

Police said they are still looking for an armed man who robbed a Greenville gas station early Wednesday.

The suspect, armed with a silver long-barreled revolver and wearing a bandanna over his face, robbed the Kangaroo gas station at 2600 Charles Blvd, said investigators. It happened just after 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.

The robber, described as a slim black male between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, took cash and cigarettes, police said. He escaped on foot.
