A man who pleaded guilty to strangling a puppy to death is facing robbery charges for the second time.
According to the Pitt County Detention Center, 22-year-old Demetrius Clayton Crumble, of Greenville, was arrested on Tuesday on charges of common law robbery and resisting a public officer. He was being held on a $53,500 bond. No other details were released about the incident.
Crumble had pleaded guilty to strangling a puppy in February 2013. According to investigators, the incident happened on Carolyn Street, south of Greenville off Highway 43.
