New Bern Police say they evacuated the Walmart on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. because of a reported bomb threat.

Lt. Mark Von Behren tells NewsChannel 12 police got a call of an unidentified male phoning in the threat at about 7:00 Wednesday night.

Officers evacuated the Walmart and searched the building but found nothing. Shoppers later returned to the store. So far, no arrests have been made.
