Two adults, three kids hospitalized after crash

Troopers said a truck hit a SUV, sending five people to the hospital.

The incident happened Wednesday morning in Craven County on Tuscarora Road.  Troopers said a truck trying to make a left-hand turn didn't yield to a SUV that was traveling down the road.  Two adults and three kids were taken to the hospital; troopers would not say which vehicles the people were in at the time of the crash.  On scene, a child's car seat was sitting next to the damaged SUV.

Troopers said the five people had non life-threatening injuries.
