Telephone store robber goes to prison
A Greenville man convicted of robbing a cellular telephone store will go to federal prison.
Marquail Earl Mouring, 23, was sentenced Thursday in U. S. District Court to nine years in prison and five years supervised release.
Mourning plead guilty in October 2012 to robbery and carrying a gun during a violent crime. Mouring and two others robbed the U. S. Cellular Store on Southwest Greenville Boulevard on May 3, 2011. The robbery netted $1,080.
Another defendant in the case, Julius Deshawn Hobbs of Greenville, was previously sentenced to eleven years in prison. The remaining defendant, James Arthur Acklin, Jr. of Grenville, has pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing.
