Teens charged after break in at local car repair shop

Police catch suspects hiding at E & J Automotive Inc. before making arrests.

NEW BERN -

Police make arrests after a breaking and entering was reported early Friday morning at E & J Automotive Inc. in New Bern. 

New Bern Police Sgt. Todd Conway, told us 17-year-old Quinzell Saunders and 18-year-old Xavier White climbed over a fence at the auto repair shop early Friday.  

Police believe the two were breaking into vehicles.  Investigators say the pair was discovered hiding in vehicles.   

The duo was also accused of stealing a vehicle at a seperate location earlier in the night.  

The repair shop is located at 100 Wanda Ave.  

Saunders and White face a slew of charges.
