Sweepstakes owner claims Saturday night robbery

LENOIR COUNTY -

A Kinston Sweepstakes owner said he was robbed.

James Mooring, the owner of Jackson Heights Sweepstakes, tells NewsChannel 12 that he was robbed Saturday night, but wouldn't go into much detail. Mooring said that the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount money.

Mooring said the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident. NewsChannel 12 has made calls to them for confirmation. We'll continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
