Surveillance video of New Bern armed robbery released

Police have released surveillance video in relation to the armed robbery of the Five Points Mini-Mart in New Bern.

They say the men went into the mini-mart, located on the 1500 block of National Ave. Police say they scaled a neighboring fence, then crouched down in front of the mini-mart in order not to be seen by the owner. They then pointed their guns at the clerk and demanded cash.

Police say they made off with approximately $3000. They were wearing masks at the time of the robbery, so not much known in the way of a description. Witnesses say they left the scene on bicycles.
