Stabbing victim in hospital

Deputies in Craven County are searching for whoever stabbed a man near Vanceboro.

Investigators found the victim on Main Street about 7 p.m. Sunday, but it's not clear where the stabbing actually happened.

Deputies didn't have the victim's name available; we do know the victim is a man who was stabbed near his stomach.

His condition is unknown.

He was taken to a hospital in Greenville.
