The driver of an ice cream truck is recovering from gunshot wounds after two men shot at his vehicle.

KTVK-TV in Arizona reported that Avondale police pursued two suspects after an attempted robbery of that truck around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The station reported that as the driver turned away, he was shot in the torso.

Local authorities said that the suspects ran away from the scene of the crime through a neighborhood, and three schools were locked down during the initial search.

Police have made on arrest, and are looking for the second suspect.
