A Martin County senior citizen was pinned in her crashed car, then airlifted to a hospital.

It happened on Smithwick Creek Church Road around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers say 69-year-old Libbie Harrington ran off the road to the right and went into a ditch.

She continued down the ditch - eventually going airborne.

The car landed on its roof and Harrington was pinned inside of the car.

She was airlifted to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say that alcohol was not a factor .
