Police are investigating a shooting in Wilmington after three men sustained gunshot wounds.

It happened around 7 p.m. in Robert Strange Park on Saturday.

Witnesses say two adult softball teams had just finished a game. The teams started fighting. It then escalated into a gunfight. Three men were injured.

All three men were transported to the hospital. Police say their injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Authorities have identified a suspect. The suspects name is not known at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
