Police ask for your help in finding larceny suspect

Detectives from the Greenville Police Department are asking for your help to identify a suspect in a larceny case from Wal-mart. A victim's wallet was stolen on December 10, 2012, while she was Christmas shopping, according to police.

Officials say that after the victim's wallet was stolen, the suspect attempted to use the victim's card to make purchases. The victim has also reported an incident of attempted identity theft using the victim's personal information, police said.

Detectives say they are investigating the suspect in the wallet theft as being involved in the theft of the victim's identity.

Surveillance images from Wal-mart show the suspect picking up the victim's wallet and leaving the store, according to police.
