Two people were in jail Saturday night for robbing their former neighbor, police said.
Rebecca Buck and Newman Asubonteng worked together to target a man who lives on the 100 block of Concord Drive in Greenville, police said.
About 2 p.m. Saturday, Buck knocked on the victim's door; when the victim answered Asubonteng assaulted him and stole his wallet, police said.
Buck and Asubonteng ran to a Motel 6, where police found them after an investigation, police said.
Investigators say the pair had recently been evicted from the area near the crime scene.
