Onslow County Sheriff Ed Brown confirmed that a 61-year-old father has shot his adult son at Gatlin Mobile Home Park in Hubert Thursday night.
Brown says deputies received the call around 7 p.m.
The man was shot in the leg and his injuries are not considered life threatening.
