Pitt County duplex goes up in flames

GREENVILLE -

Two people are waking up without a home after their duplex goes up in flames overnight, according to Pitt County Dispatchers.  

The fire was reported on West 14th Avenue in Greenville.  The emergency call came in around 1:45 a.m., Monday.  Fire crews cleared the scene around 3:30 a.m. 

So far there is no word on a cause of this fire.  We will continue to keep in touch with authorities.
