Overwash closes parts of N.C. 12

DARE COUNTY -

Four-wheel drive access on Pea Island along N.C. 12 is closed due to overwash on the roadway.

This area is south of Nags Head before you get to Cape Hatteras.  Crews will reopen the road once conditions are safe.
