A clinic for troops suffering from traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress is coming to Eastern North Carolina.
The Marine Corps and a private foundation broke ground Wednesday on the project at Camp Lejeune.
The 11 million-dollar satellite center is paid for by the foundation known as The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
Foundation spokesperson Jody Fisher says the clinic will be built within three years and donated to the Department of Defense.
The new center is to be one of nine the foundation is trying to build across the country.
