According to communications, a motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle.

Authorities said this happened at the intersection of Arlington Boulevard and Fire Tower Road just after 8 o'clock Friday morning.

The condition of the motorcyclist is unknown at this time.
