The Highway Patrol says a Marine driving a Humvee was trying to avoid another vehicle when his vehicle flipped.

The incident happened around 9:00 a.m.

Military officials said the Marines inside the Humvee were able to get out and were not seriously; one was transported to a nearby hospital to be checked out.

Troopers say another military vehicle was crossing into the Humvee's lane, so the driver was trying to avoid it.
