Man stabbed, suspect on the run

VANCEBORO -

Officials investigate a stabbing reported late Sunday in Vanceboro.

We confirmed a stabbing victim was found on Main Street in Vanceboro Sunday night. 

Investigators conducted a search for the suspect on Mile Road.  No arrests have been made.  Law enforcement would not release where the stabbing took place.

The victim was a male but his name was not available. 

We will continue to gather the latest facts that stem from this investigation.
