Highway Patrol said they are investigating an accident that killed a man riding a mini-bike.

Troopers said that around 6 p.m., 71-year-old Ernest Moore was riding the bike while traveling north on Jones White Road near Creswell. That's when they said 63-year-old Delores Longoria, who was driving a pick-up truck , hit him from behind. Troopers said Moore died at the scene.

Troopers said Moore was wearing dark clothing and did not have any lights on the mini-bike, which is best described as a small dirt bike.

No charges have been filed.
