Deputies said a man was injured during a brutal home invasion Sunday night.
Public Information Officer Christy Wallace confirmed it happened in the 1500 block of Charter Drive around 8:30 p.m. Wallace said a child answered the door, and two black males entered wielding a small silver handgun.
Deputies said the men made off with two cell phones and a wallet with $500 cash inside. Three children and three adults were at home at the time of the invasion.
