Man found safe, Silver Alert cancelled

Silver alert issued for Pitt County man
PITT COUNTY -

Police have confirmed that 49-Year-Old Steve Anthony was found safely Sunday.

A Silver Alert had been issued for Anthony on Saturday.

Police have not released any additional information on his whereabouts at this time.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Winterville man, believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons said Saturday that 49-year-old Frank Anthony was last seen in the 2000 block of Jones Street. He has been described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170lbs, with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket, white or blue shirt, khaki pants, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information on Anthony's whereabouts is asked to call the Winterville Police Department at 252-756-1105.
