Highway back open after serious crash

ONSLOW COUNTY -

A major road is back open after a near head-on crash, according to troopers.

The incident happened on Highway 17 south of Maysville, near Belgrade-Swansboro road.  The trooper on scene said one woman was airlifted to Vidant medical center in critical but stable condition.  She's identified as Delores Marchilillo.  The other woman involved was taken to Onslow Memorial as a precaution.
