A woman, wanted in connection to a triple homicide in California, was arrested in Pitt County.
Greenville Police said they arrested 26-year-old Abbygail Castillo on Wednesday at a motel, where she was believed to have been working as a prostitute. She was charged with one count of accessory to murder.
According to the Daily Reflector, Castillo was accused of being involved in a triple homicide in Modesto, California, where three people were shot and killed in March. The victims were 16, 19 and 31 years old. Police said a fourth victim, an 18-year-old woman, was able to escape and call 911.
Castillo was being held without bond at the Pitt County Detention Center, awaiting extradition to California.
