Farmville Police investigate shooting

PITT COUNTY -

Farmville Police are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting incident.

A male was shot on Godwin Drive; police got the call about 2 p.m., according to Farmville Police Chief Donnie Greene.

At this point, it's unclear if the injury was self-inflicted or not, Greene said.

The male, whose name was not available, does not have life-threatening injuries.

No one else was injured but the gunfire did cause minor property damage, Greene said.
