A Pitt County family is displaced because of a Sunday house fire.  

Firefighters with the Staton House Fire Department got the call to the Hollowell Road scene at approximately 2 p.m.

The home is near Stokes.

The home is a total loss, a fire official said.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
