Edgecombe County officers arrest man on child sex charges

TARBORO -

Edgecombe County deputies have charged a man they say committed sex crimes against a child.  They charged 44-year-old Troy Edmondson of Tarboro with Indecent Liberties with a Child and First Degree Sex Offense with a Child.

Officers acted on a report of a sexual assault of a six year old female.

Edmondson was put in jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
