Driver side-swipes Jacksonville Police patrol car

An official from the Highway Patrol said a woman side-swiped a Jacksonville Police department patrol car early Tuesday morning.
It happened on highway 258 in Onslow County. Troopers said the woman had been driving all night from New York and fell asleep behind the wheel. There was minor damage to the patrol car.
Jacksonville Police spokeswoman Beth Purcell said no injuries were reported.
