Dispatchers: House fully engulfed when fire crews arrive

OAK CITY, MARTIN COUNTY -

A major house fire was reported in Martin County Tuesday night.

The fire broke out at a home in Oak City on Hassell Road around 8 p.m., according to dispatchers. 

When crews arrived to the scene the home was fully engulfed in flames.  After it was controlled the fire flared up once again.  

There were no injuries were reported.  

We will continue to stay in touch with the fire chief to get more details on this house fire.
