Barn a total loss after fire

MAYSVILLE -

Fire crews have cleared the scene of an early morning structure fire in Jones County.

The fire started on the 100 block of Great Lake Road in Maysville. Jones County officials said it is a barn fire.

At 3:50 a.m., Maysville fire fighters had been dispatched to the fire.

The barn is considered a total loss, however, a motorcycle was pulled out of the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
