Attempted robbery reported at department store

A suspect is in custody after an attempted robbery at an Onslow County department store.
It happened at the Maxway, near the corner of Old Folkstone Road and Highway 210, according to the Onslow County Sheriff's Office.
The incident was reported just after 6 p.m. Saturday.
