Firefighters are investigating the cause of an Sunday afternoon fire that left a Duplin County home a total loss.

It happened on the 100 block of Bleeker Street in Magnolia, according to Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department Chief Lee Roy Hall.

Crews got the call at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

No one was home at the time, Hall said.

No one was hurt.
