CARTERET COUNTY -

More suspects have been arrested as part of "Operation Pill Crusher," an undercover drug operation in Carteret County.

According to the Carteret County Sheriff's Office, the suspects listed below are the latest arrestees.

Melvin Joseph Morris a.k.a. "Joe Norvey"
Age 56
· 2 counts - Trafficking opium or heroin
· 1 count - Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, & deliver Schedule II
controlled substances
· 1 count - Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule IV controlled substances
· Bond $100,000.00

Jerry Charles Jackson Sr.
Age 59
· 4 counts - Possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana
· 2 counts - maintaining vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances
· Bond $10,000.00

Katherine Marie Gaskill
Age 35
· 1 count - Conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule VI controlled substances
· Bond $30,000.00

Amanda Megan Girard
Age 26
· 1 count - Conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substances
· 1 count - Conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule III controlled substances
· 1 count - Maintaining vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances
· Bond $5,000.00

Ashley Bruce Hopewell
Age 52
· 2 counts - Possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana
· 1 count - maintaining vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances
· Bond $10,000.00

Davie Carroll Willis
Age 40
· 1 count - Conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substances
· Bond $3,000.00

Aaron Kyle Penny
Age 31
· 2 counts - Sell and deliver schedule II controlled substances
· 2 counts - Possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance
· Bond $300,000.00
