TULSA, OK -- A barbecue restaurant in Oklahoma is turning heads, and drawing in customers, with its unusual name - which has raised more than a few questions.

The name is based on the owner's construction company, Action Erection Services, which builds things.

So of course the restaurant is named Action Erection Beer & BBQ.

"The name - people stop in the middle of the road and take pictures of the sign, kind of wonder what's really going on in there but it's not what people think," said co-owner Brian Rostron.

Customers obviously aren't too put off by the name.

Brian and B.G. Rostron opened the place back in December, and diners soon began to notice something familiar about the new place.

"They'd come in and they'd say 'this tasted like the Old Knotty Pine,'" said the other co-owner, B.G. Rostron.

The pair hired some of the Old Knotty Pine's kitchen staff, which was an iconic west Tulsa barbecue place that suffered a fire in 2010. The location was bulldozed and never reopened.

Customers Erica Carnes and her grandmother, Mary Wofford, said the likeness was easy to smell and taste.

"My brother called me, and he told me he had come out here - and it was just like the Old Knotty Pine," Wofford said.

Carnes said she's looking forward to the smoked sausage and wants to find out if the green beans taste the same.

Everybody's got a favorite, even 4-year-old Jayden who likes the ham with sweet sauce.
