FARMVILLE, PITT COUNTY - Police have arrested three people for allegedly selling counterfeit concert tickets on Craigslist to people all over Eastern Carolina.
According to the Farmville Police Department, 20-year-old Michael Kevin Corrigan, 24-year-old Martin Vasquez Luna Jr. and 23-year-old Russell Edward Brooks (pictured l-r) have each been charged with obtaining property by false pretense and felony conspiracy.
Police said the three suspects were selling counterfeit tickets to Luke Bryan, Journey and Steve Miller Band concerts using Craigslist ads.
Investigators said the suspects were printing off and selling multiple counterfeit tickets for the Luke Bryan concert in Raleigh on June 7, and the Journey/Steve Miller Band concert in Virginia Beach on June 21. The suspects have sold those tickets to people all over Eastern Carolina, according to police.
The suspects, all from Greenville, were arrested by the Farmville Police Department on Tuesday. Investigators said they also found drug paraphernalia in the suspects' SUV.
Each suspect was being held in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.
Police are advising those who purchased tickets from the suspects to contact local law enforcement to file a report. Have them contact the Farmville Police Department for more information.
