2 Abandoned Homes Go Up In Flames

Two abandoned house fires were reported in James City,Tuesday around 2 am.

The first fire was reported at 718 Old Cherry Point Rd.  Crews were alerted to a second fire about 10 minutes later a mile away at 501 Brown Dr.       

Both homes were vacant.  The homes  were total losses.  There were no injuries reported. 

On scene, we were told the fires are under investiation.  Crews tell is the fire marshal is headed to both sites Tuesday to examine the cause.
