Get your morning started with Newschannel12's Lauren Arnott. You can find Lauren on the anchor desk every morning from 5-7 a.m. on WCTI and from 7-8 a.m. on Fox Eastern Carolina. She also producers and anchors the 30 minute noon newscast.
Lauren first joined NewsChannel12 as a weekend reporter in April 2015. From weekend, to nights, to mornings, she has worked every shift at the station. During that time she has discovered a new appreciation for coffee.
Lauren Arnott joined the NewsChannel12 team in April of 2015. Hailing from Connecticut but a southerner at heart, Lauren is excited to call beautiful coastal New Bern home.
No stranger to the Carolinas, Lauren graduated from the College of Charleston in 2013 with a B.A. in Media Communication. She received her first taste of on-air reporting at the college’s student media department, CisternYard Video, where Lauren worked as a news and sports reporter.
After her sophomore year, Lauren interned at NBC Connecticut where she worked alongside reporters and wrote for the web. Two years later, Lauren returned to the news station as a production assistant. Immersed in a fast-paced newsroom, she gained valuable behind-the-scenes experience and insight.
When Lauren is not reporting, she enjoys seeking new adventures, spending time outdoors, going to the gym, and relaxing on the beach. She also enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. Throughout her lifetime, Lauren has had the opportunity of living in six different states.
