Chelsea is a 2014 graduate from Queens University of Charlotte. She Majored in Sport Communications and minored in American Political Studies.

At Queens, Chelsea was an active member in the Alpha Omicron Chapter of Kappa Delta serving as chapter president and Treasure. While in college, Chelsea interned with Time Warner Cable News and The WCCB.

Chelsea grew up in New Bern, North Carolina. She graduated in 2010 from New Bern High School.
