Police say a real estate developer shot and killed his wife and two teenagers, before committing suicide in their Fayetteville home.
Fayetteville Police say William Maxwell, 47, killed wife, Kathryn, Connor, 17, and Cameron, 15, before turning a gun on himself. It happened in an upscale neighborhood Monday night.
Friends and neighbors say the Maxwells were a friendly family who kept a meticulous yard and were active in their church and their children's religious high school. Authorities did not hint at a motive.
Fayetteville is about 50 miles southwest of Raleigh and home to the Army base, Fort Bragg.
