A man has been arrested and charged with biting off another man's ear in Carteret County.
Investigators say David Bryant Turner, 25, of Clinton, NC, attacked the man yesterday evening. The two apparently worked together on a shrimp boat docked at Radio Island. The victim, 63, allowed Turner to stay with him on the boat.
After the fight yesterday, Turner was arrested and charged with felony maiming of the ear. He was placed in the Carteret County Jail under a $25,000 bond, and was scheduled for his first appearance in court this morning.
