Police: Man Killed After Argument Led To Gunfire

WILMINGTON -

Wilmington police say a Columbus County man has been shot to death.

Police said 22-year-old David Terrell McPhatter of Riegelwood died in the shooting Saturday night.

Witnesses told police two men had argued and one of them shot the other. Police say McPhatter died at the scene. The shooter ran from the area.

Investigators say about 100 people were in the area when the shooting occurred. No arrests have been made.
