Discussion: We’ll be dodging raindrops from now until the weekend. The big storm system in the central Plains will continue to send pieces of energy our way. As it does we’ll see spotty showers through early afternoon with heavier rain developing late evening through the overnight as a weak low pressure develops and rides up the coast. We’ll see the rain taper to spotty showers again for most of Friday. Again by late Friday afternoon/evening heavier rain will head our way. We will have to watch this batch as there could be some damage from wind and hail. This will exit the area by Saturday morning and drier air will overspread the region. The problem will be that the upper level cold pocket will be crossing the east during the weekend and this will generate scattered showers each afternoon.
