Deputies: Man Tried To Kill Wife With Rifle

Onslow County deputies have charged 25-year-old Quinton Lee Gaymon with attempted first-degree murder, and assault on a female.

The Jacksonville Daily News reports Gaymon is accused of trying to end an argument, and his wife's life, by shooting her with a rifle. Investigators said the bullet missed Jennifer Gaymon.

Quinton Gaymon has upcoming court dates in both Onslow and Cumberland counties for unrelated charges. He is being held without bond.
