GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) _ A North Carolina business school is
giving female entrepreneurs an extra boost of knowledge about how
to run their companies.
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro's Bryan business
school is holding a program Saturday to help women strengthen their
companies.
Organizer and business school lecturer Channelle James says the
program aims to help women new to running a small business.
The conference offers workshops on how to create a cash flow
statement and build a strong marketing strategy as well as the tax
implications of starting a new business.
The conference also will encourage high school girls to become
young moguls. They'll participate in workshops on product
development and financial literacy and pitch their product in a
hurry.
