Investigators are looking into two separate cases of animal cruelty in Greene County.
Police arrested Raymond Wallace of Walstonburg yesterday. Animal Control says Wallace threw his girlfriends two pound chihuahua into a wall and then a chair, before throwing it outside. The dog died. Wallace faces felony animal cruelty charges.
Investigators also say a one-year-old labrador retriever was shot by a deer hunter last week in Snow Hill. Animal Control does not think it was an accident. Charges are pending.
