Searching For Shooting Suspect

Police are hunting for a suspect in a midday shooting.
Omar Blount is charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Police first responded to the Beaufort County Hospital yesterday, after a call that someone had come into the ER suffering from a gunshot wound.
Minutes later, police were called to the Holiday Inn where a second gunshot victim was found. Police say the shootings happened near the intersection of 7th and Respess Streets.
Both victims are in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
